Get a business found, and chosen, online

Before most customers call or visit, they look a business up on Google, on social media or on a map. This course teaches you to build that online presence yourself.

You will design brand visuals in Adobe Photoshop, build a WordPress website with an online store, and learn the ways people find it: SEO, Google Ads and YouTube Ads, a Google My Business listing and social media marketing.

Who should join

  • Students who want a practical digital skill next to their studies.
  • Shop and business owners who want to run their own website, Google listing and social media.
  • Freelancers who want to offer marketing services to clients.
  • Job seekers aiming for roles in marketing, sales or e-commerce.

No marketing background is listed as a requirement. If you are not sure whether your computer skills are enough, message us before you apply.

Course outline

Six topics that together cover how a small business gets seen, trusted and contacted online.

Adobe Photoshop (Branding)

A brand is the look people recognise: its colours, fonts, logo placement and style of images. You use Adobe Photoshop to create that look and apply it to what a business posts every day.

  • Design social media posts, banners and cover images
  • Keep colours, fonts and logo placement consistent
  • Export images in the right size and format for the web and for ads

WordPress Development (Website & Online Store)

WordPress is one of the most widely used website platforms, from small business pages to online shops. You build a website with its pages and menus, then add a store where customers can browse and order.

  • Set up a website with pages and menus
  • Add products, categories and prices to an online store
  • Follow a customer from the product page to checkout
  • Update and manage the site on your own

SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

SEO is how a page earns a place in Google's search results without paying for every click. You learn what people type when they look for a business like yours, and how to shape your pages to match.

  • Find the words and phrases your customers search for
  • Write page titles, descriptions and headings that match those searches
  • Check a website for common problems that hold it back in search

Google Ads & YouTube Ads

Ads put a business in front of people straight away, in Google search results and in YouTube videos. You learn how a campaign is set up and how to spend a small budget with care.

  • Set up a campaign: goal, audience, keywords and budget
  • Write ad text that matches what people are searching for
  • Understand how video ads work on YouTube
  • Read the basic results to see what is working

Google My Business

When someone searches for a shop or service nearby, Google shows a listing with the address, opening hours, photos and reviews. Google My Business, now called Google Business Profile, is where you control that listing.

  • Create and verify a business listing
  • Add services, opening hours, photos and posts
  • Reply to customer reviews and questions

Social Media Marketing

Social media is where many customers first see a business and decide whether to trust it. You learn to set up business pages, plan content and post with a purpose.

  • Set up and complete business pages on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram
  • Plan a posting calendar around one clear goal
  • Reply to comments and messages in a professional way

Where this can take you

  • Run the online side of your own or a family business.
  • Offer services as a freelancer: social media pages, website setup, Google listings or ad campaigns.
  • Apply for entry-level roles in marketing, sales or e-commerce, where these tools are used every day.
  • Continue with a related course such as Graphic Designing or WordPress Development to go deeper.

Questions students ask

Do I need marketing or design experience?

No marketing background is listed as a requirement. If you are unsure whether your computer skills are enough, message us on WhatsApp and we will advise you before you apply.

I already run a business. Is this course for me?

Yes. The topics match what a business needs online: a brand look, a website with a store, a Google listing, ads and social media. You can use them for your own business straight away.

What is the difference between SEO and Google Ads?

SEO helps your pages appear in search results over time without paying for each click. Google Ads places your business at the top of the results for a fee per click. The course teaches both, so you can choose what suits a budget.

Is Google My Business the same as Google Business Profile?

Yes. Google renamed it Google Business Profile. We use the old name in the outline because many people still search for it by that name.

How long is the course, what does it cost and how do I join?

It runs for 3 months. The course fee is Rs. 18,500 and the admission fee is Rs. 500. To join, press Apply now or message us on WhatsApp and we will help you choose a batch.
